Introduction to Low Light Handgun Skills Level I
Low Light Handgun Skills Level I — 3.5 Hours — Under Review
Prerequisite: This course requires the completion of Handgun Skills Level I and II or the equivalent. This is not a beginners class.
Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements may be removed from training.
Course Outline
- Low light equipment selection considerations
- Support equipment
- Clothing Considerations
- Shooting basics — the importance of proper muzzle control considering low light conditions.
- Movement techniques and drills
- Use of cover and concealment
- Ethical considerations
Classes starting at 8:30am will run until 12:30pm.
Classes starting at 1:00pm will run until 5:00pm.
Classes starting at 6:00pm will run until 10:00pm.
Equipment List
- Quality functional semi-automatic pistol
- 3 magazines
- Magazine pouch
- Concealment holster
- Please wear long pants with pockets and belt loops, a sturdy 1.5" belt, closed toe shoes, and a crew neck shirt.
- Optional loading devices
