CQB1 - HOME DEFENSE TACTICS and STRATEGIES - LEVEL I - 3.5 Hours - $125.00

Prerequisite - None.

Students failing to meet and maintain our safety requirements and/or who cannot meet and immediately demonstrate the minimum skills required for this class may be removed from training. Please ensure you have read through the class description and fully understand our prerequisites before registering.

In addition to the skills, and tasks listed, there are many important perspectives and training stgrategies presented in class, not described in the online class description.

• Deterrence - Basic actions to deter burglary and home invasion.
• Prevention - Basic actions to deny access to one’s home.
• Defense - Basic and universal tactics & strategies for defending yourself and loved ones during a home invasion.
• Hard points.
• Dominate, defensive positions.
• Barricades
• Hard Corners
• Hallways, corridors, and stairwells.
• Angles of exposure
• Basic movements
• White light usage
• Pistols vs Rifles vs Shotguns for Home Defense
• Force on Force scenario reviews
• Basic overview of rescue situations & tactics. • Priority of threat
• Deconflictions
• When the police arrive

Classes starting at 8:00am will run until 12:00pm.
Classes starting at 1:00pm will run until 5:00pm.
Classes Starting at 5:00pm will run until 9:00pm.

Equipment List
• Equipment List:
• An open mind
• A basic sketch of your home’s floor plan (we will use this to build specific home defense plans for your home situation).
• (Optional) Inert training pistol, rifle, or shotgun (such as a blue gun). These will be provided during the class if you do not own one.
•Comfortable cloths and footwear.
•Notebook and pen.
